Data Deletion
At Nowshine AI, we believe you should have full control over your data. This page explains how you can delete your data and what happens when you do.
1. In-app delete option
The App includes an in-app “Delete my data” option in the settings or profile area. Using this option will remove your locally stored habit data (tasks, streaks, progress and settings) from the app storage on your device.
2. Uninstalling the App
You can also delete your local data by simply uninstalling the App from your device. When you uninstall:
- All local habit data stored by the App (such as streaks, schedules, and configuration) is removed.
- Any cached information used by the App is cleared by your device OS.
3. Data stored by third-party services
Some technical data (like crash logs, analytics or notification tokens) may be stored by third-party services such as Google Firebase. This data is generally non-identifying and used to improve performance and reliability.
If you would like us to request deletion of such data where possible, you can contact us as described below.
4. Manual data deletion request
If you want to request deletion of data associated with your use of Nowshine AI, please email us with:
- Subject line: “Delete my data — Nowshine AI”
- A short description of your request and any relevant details (e.g. device info).

We aim to respond and process valid deletion requests within 30 days, where technically possible.
5. Legal retention
In some cases, we may be required to retain limited information for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons. In such cases, we will keep only the minimum data necessary and only for as long as required by law.
6. Changes to this Data Deletion Policy
We may update this page from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically if you are concerned about data handling.
